Valley View Junior High
October 2017 Newsletter
Fall is definitely here and we are back in the swing of the school year. A new school year always brings new routines. Please work with your child to develop good organizational habits. Encourage them to use their agendas to keep track of assignments and keep their papers separated by subject folders. Utilize Progress Book to stay on top of assignment due dates and assignment scores. Please contact your child's teacher immediately if you are concerned about grades or have any questions.
Midterm grades were sent home with students on September 22nd. Reports were mailed home for students with D's and/or F's. Parents are encouraged to utilize Progress Book to monitor progress and assignments. They are also encouraged to contact their child's teachers with concerns or questions. The end of the first quarter will be October 13th.
