Hathaway Community,

Thank you for all of your patience and support as we have start our year! Teachers and staff are very happy to have everyone back and we are adjusting to having everyone on campus after almost 18 months away!

It is especially important that we start building good habits so please arrive to school prepared and on time.

Reminder that school begins at 8:05 am.

Hathaway Cafeteria opens for breakfast at 7:30 am.

You can help by making sure that your student(s) arrive early enough to enjoy breakfast.

Reminder that EVERY WEDNESDAY is an early release day for students in grades first-fifth. Wednesday early release day is 1:02 pm.

In the coming days your student will receive technology from their teacher. These devices will be used for classroom instruction and learning during the day, as well as for independent learning at home.

Kinder, 1st 2nd Grade = iPad

3rd, 4th 5th Grade = Chromebook

Back to School Night will be virtual again this year. Your students teacher will contact you about how to connect with them for information about their class and the special things they have planned for this year.

In the coming days your student will receive technology from their teacher. These devices will be used for classroom instruction and learning during the day, as well as for independent learning at home.

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS:


  • Students should come to school each day with their devices fully charged and ready for use.
  • Chargers should stay at home.
  • Students and families are responsible for the devices and chargers they are issued.

Student and Staff Safety at Hathaway

Reminder to all that we will be continuing to practice safety first for all staff and students:


Temperature screenings will be conducted before students enter their classrooms.


Please screen your child at home each day for fever or symptoms and do not send your child to school if he/she is symptomatic or sick.

Students should not come to school if they have any COVID-19 related Symptoms such as:

  • Runny Nose/Congestion

  • Cough

  • Sore Throat

  • Headache

  • Fatigue/Muscle or Body Aches

  • Fever above 99.5 degrees

  • Loss of Smell/Taste

  • Difficulty Breathing

Hathaway Cafeteria opens at 7:30 am. Please help ensure that your student receives breakfast at school. You can help by making sure that your student(s)arrive by 7:45 am daily.
