Lord of the Flies has been seen as how society would turn out if things were different. Without rules and trust things can never get done and people could get hurt. The book can be seen as controversial due to many things like how the boys act in the book and the vents that occur.

The book is a very emotional dystopian novel. The book is about a plane crash that strands a group of young boys. At first all the boys have fun with no adults and mess around. Once realizing no one will come pick them up they must learn to thrive on the island. But when some of the boys get a little wild things take a turn for the worst.
