Should we lower it?
San Francisco's minimum wage is already raised to $10.55. That is $3.30 higher than Wisconsin's, which is the national average of $7.25
Most people that start off at minimum wage, ended up with a higher pay within their first year of work.
Should We Raise It?
In my opinion, no. if you are working at a job where the skills needed aren't hard to find, then why should the company have to pay you more. The majority of workers that are paid minimum wage are students that are just working for a little extra cash. After high school you have the opportunity to up your pay, and if you don't take it, then that's a personal problem.
