The cage system of rearing birds has been considered as a super intensive system providing floor area of 450-525 per bird. In cage the birds are kept in one, two or three per cage, arranged in single or double or triple rows.

473 million chickens are in the caged system.

Chickens eat Corn, Grains and other nutritional foods to get them bigger

The chickens are kept safer because they are in separate cages and their is no pecking order and they are kept safe in the cages.
