Note from the Principal
Can it be possible that the school year is coming to an end? Our friends at Cormier are anxiously looking forward to learning all they can before the year is over. The last day of school for 4K will be Thursday, June 7, and Friday, June 8, for 5K; we will release the 5K students at 11 a.m. on June 8. We hope your summer is a healthy and happy one for your entire family.
Summer School Registration
The 2018 Ashwaubenon Summer School will run from Wednesday, June 13 through Wednesday, July 11 (no class on Wednesday, July 4). The on-line registration for selecting summer school classes is still available to use. We expect the on-line registration window to remain open until further notice.
All families who have registered their children will receive an email for each student with that student's schedule of classes. We are anticipating that this email will be sent out the week of May 21.
Summer School information and updates will be posted on our Summer School webpage at www.ashwaubenon.k12.wi.us/summer_school.cfm. You can also call the Cormier School office at 448-2870 with any questions.

Birthday Book Club
We would like to thank Molly in Mrs. Brauer’s class for donating a new book to our library during the past month.
It has been another wonderful year for book donations, thanks to our many generous parents and students. Birthday book donations will gratefully be accepted until the last day of school.
Extra! Extra! – End of the Year
All library books need to be returned to school no later than Friday, May 25th. Please make sure that your son or daughter returns their book on time. If the book has been lost, please call 448-2875, ext. 7113, to make arrangements for payment of the book. All lost and damaged books must be paid for by Thursday, May 31th.
Head Start Registration
CESA 7 Head Start is looking for families who want a preschool experience for their child. The program provides a fun, stimulating environment for families who meet income guidelines and have children age 3 by September 1, 2018. Head Start provides free bussing with a bus aide, meals, and the opportunity for parent involvement. The half day sessions are offered at centers located throughout Brown County in the Ashwaubenon, DePere, and Howard/Suamico areas.
To apply or for more information about the Head Start program, contact the Head Start office, at 920-430-1153.
