Dates to Note:

Tuesday September 22: Vision Screening

Wednesday September 23: Deadline for Scholastic Orders
Thursday September 24: Soccer Game (H)

Thursday September 24: Cross Country (A)

PRIMARY TEACHERS: A parent volunteer,Ashley Ulery (mom of Avery in P3) will be escorting the students from your classrooms down to the conference room.

LOWER TEACHERS: A parent volunteer, Ashley Ulery will come pick your students up. Please have one teacher come with her to help with "crowd control." It is going to be a nice morning, therefore the students will wait near the gazebo - please ask them to bring a silent reading book to help pass the time. They shouldn't have to wait very long. As each class goes, the teacher can take them back to their building - they do not have to wait for all the classes to be screened.

UPPER & MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHERS: The nurse will come to your buildings to conduct the screening.

9:00 - 9:30 Primary 2nd & 3rd years only

9:45 - 10:15 Lower 1st & 3rd graders only

10:45 - 11:00 Upper 5th graders only

11:15 - 11:30 Middle School 8th graders only

Ashley will have a list of the students who need to be screened - this will only be by grade level. If a child already wears glasses or contacts, there is no need for them to be screened. If you have a student that you would like to have screened, please just have them join Ashley when she comes to pick them up.

Falcons Basketball Season is Almost Here!

Basketball Coaches

We will be interviewing basketball coaches next week for our Boys and Girls Basketball program. We have 2 coaches lined up and are interviewing for 1 or 2 more. Could this be you? Practices begin mid-October with games November and December. The season ends Dec 18th.

Contact Lori Z. ASAP if you are the one!

Basketball Players

Ready to pass, shoot and score? If you are a student (boy OR girl) in the 5th through 8th grade, please let Lori Z. or Andrea know if you are interested in BB. Our season is October 12th through December 18th.

Do you have a club or activity that you would like to offer to students? We would like to have information compiled by early October so we can share information with the parents and get clubs rolling soon. Club leaders do get paid $200 as long as there are at least eight participants. Please email Macy ASAP - the subject of your club, age level, and the day of the week that you would prefer.

If you did not participate in last weekend's Journey & Discovery, then the Fall Festival is a required event for you. It is expected that you help with this event, not just attend as a spectator. The fun begins for families at 10:00 and ends at 1:00. We need A LOT of help with this event - during the event as well as with set up and tear down. I will be sending a Sign-Up Genius link to all who weren't at Journey & Discovery. Please sign up for a task that you would like to do. THANK YOU in advance for your help with this!

Faculty Schedules 15-16

Please complete your schedule for the 15-16 school year by completing the blank schedule form located on the W drive. (W drive>Quick Reference>2015-2016 Blank Faculty Schedule.) For classroom teachers, I need a classroom schedule as well. Please return schedules to me electronically on or before Friday, September 25th.

Remember to turn in your Open Enrollment Health Insurance form to Sarah on or before this Friday (September 24th).
