YOUTH TAKEOVER SUNDAY
DRESS AND KEEP THE GARDEN
Our Youth Pastor, Min. Elenah Kelly taught a beautiful lesson entitled "Dress and Keep The Garden." Her scripture references were Genesis 2:15-17 and her objectives were:
1. Review the story of the Garden of Eden
2. Recognize God's original intent for us
3. Recognize how to dress and keep the garden
4. Recognize that God is full of grace and mercy
She did a powerful demonstration of showing us all the beautiful things that God has provided for us, but we sometimes make the mistake and go after the things we think we don't have in our lives. Those things will draw us from under the covering of God and cause us to fall away from God's grace.
You can view the entire lesson on any one of our media platforms.
Visit us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. Remember to invite a friend, subscribe, like, and share!

FEBRUARY CHARACTER TRAIT IS HONESTY
WHAT IS HONESTY?
* Honesty is telling the truth
* It is being sincere, truthful, trustworthy, honorable, fair, genuine, and loyal with integrity.
FEBRUARY PRAYER FOCUS
Thank you, Father, that You so loved the world that You gave Your one and only Son, our Lord Jesus Christ; that when the time had fully come, He wrapped Himself in human form, being born as a helpless baby in a poor family. Thank You that He walked here on earth radiating the brightness of Your glory, and flawlessly expressing Your nature and so, through Him, people saw You in action, involved with them, available to meet their needs. Thank You that He focused Your almighty power into the lives of common people with deep needs, just like us; that He preached the gospel to the poor, proclaimed freedom to prisoners of sin, and recovery of sight to the blind, and set free the oppressed victims of sin and Satan - the downtrodden, the lost, the hurting and the broken. Thank You for the way He rebuked the arrogant and looked with favor on the humble-minded, opening wide the door of His kingdom to those who were destitute and helpless in spirit. We delight in Your tender mercies, O God, by which the sunrise from on high has come to us! For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 (KJV)
