5th Grade Promotion Celebrations: Thursday, June 3rd

This year the importance of community and connection could not have been more clear. So, as a community, we are excited to honor our 5th graders with an in-person promotion ceremony at Oster. We will celebrate their growth, the supportive people who guided them, and the close friendships they have formed. Fifth grade Zoomers are welcome to participate in the ceremony, in-person. All they need to do is notify their teacher by Friday, May 28th.

Schedule of 5th Grade Promotion Ceremonies

Mr. Sinclair - 8:15-8:45

Mr. Tarshis - 8:45-9:15

Mr. Hickey - 9:15-9:45

Online Summer Reading Resources

We are encouraging all of our students to keep their school-issued technology devices over the summer. This will allow students to continue to have access to the programs they have been using throughout the year. Online learning access and remote support will be available through July 23.

The library of available resources includes RAZ-Kids, Lexia, Typing Agent, Zearn, Brain Pop and more. Click HERE for the list of programs and instructions for logging in from your USD device. You will also find details for accessing tech support over the summer. Happy learning.

CDC REMINDER RE: INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL

As a reminder, the CDC has made new recommendations for travel. Although there is no active restriction on travel, non-essential travel is highly discouraged. Since there are some questions regarding international travel, we plan to follow this guidance. Please use THIS GRID for guidance. There are two columns for vaccinated and not vaccinated travelers. Please note that there is a short quarantine time for those not vaccinated. If your student is traveling (or currently traveling) over these last few weeks, please adhere to these guidelines. Thank you.
