Ben is the Man
Benjamin Franklin was an amazing leader. He did a lot in his early, middle, and later. Ben was a wealthy man and did many things. For example, he made the lightning rod, started a print shop, and helped win the war.
Early Life
Ben was born in Boston on January 17, 1706. He ran away to Philadelphia. Then, he started a print shop. He met Deborah, whom he fell in love with. A few years later, he married her.
Middle Life
At his print shop, he started printing money. They had two kids named William and Francis. He starts publishing Poor Richard's Almanac. After that, he goes to England so the Penn family gets taxed to pay for the paid army. When gets back, the war ended, so he has to go back to England to stop taxes.
Later Life
When Ben gets home, he works on the Declaration of Independence. Next, he goes to France to get guns for America. Ben returns to Philadelphia to work on the Constitution. Benjamin Franklin dies quietly on April 17, 1790
