Information about this region.
This region is located in central Texas between the North Central Plains and the Mountains and Basins. Some major cities in this region are: Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland, and Odessa. The natural resources that are used in this region are oil, natural gas, and grasslands. Cool physical features of this region are the plains, canyons, basins, caves, and plateaus. The economy around here is based around the oil industry, cotton producing, farming, and ranching. Crops that people grow around here are cotton and wheat. Lastly, the climate around this region is kinda dry, with 20-30 inches of rain a year.
