READING LOG INFORMATION
Dear Parents,
As an incentive, we will be sending home monthly reading logs. The goal is for students to read/share reading with someone, and keep up with it by coloring a square each time a book is read. At the end of the month, these logs will be taken up, and if they are all colored in, the student will receive 10 Eagle Bucks. A class reward will also be given to the class that has read the most at the end of each month.
You may use any books including classroom books that are sent home and books read through the 2X2 program.
Class Shirt Orders- One more round! Due Feb. 15

ECC Drop Off/ Pick Up Procedures:
Drop Off Procedures:
- Drop off Times are 7:25- 8:00
- After 8:00, parents will need to park and walk their child to the front door.
Cars and buses will enter the parking lot from the west (back) entrance. Parents have to drive through the stadium-side drop off, or can park in the parking lot and walk their child to the front sidewalk.
Pick-Up Procedures:
Pick- up times are:
- Pre-K 2:15-2:45
- Buses: 2:50- 3:10
- Kindergarten: 3:10-3:25 (Our pick-up line is moving quicker now & starts moving a little before 3:10 and is getting done by or before 3:25 each day so please be here early :))
All car rider pick-ups will be on the stadium-side. Once the buses start pulling in, cars are NOT ALLOWED to get in the bus line. If you are late picking up your child, please park and bring your car tag to the front door. If you are early picking-up your kindergarten child, please park in the back 2 rows of the parking lot to wait for bus time to finish. Please have your pick-up tag (car tag) ready to show the first person on duty. You will be guided by our staff members to proceed through the line and to the correct spot where your child will be waiting for you. Remember to pull up close and to put your car in park! Please also either put your car tag on a hanger to hang on the rearview mirror or be prepared to hold it up for callers. We are not able to see them when they are laid on the dashboard.
Important Reminders:
- You MUST have your car tag to pick-up your child. You will show the tag to the first person on duty in the car line. If you need more car tags, please let your child's teacher know.
- If you forget your car tag, you will need to park and bring your driver's license to the front door. We will make you a new tag and then you will need to get back in line.
- ECC staff members are NOT responsible for seat belts. If you need to buckle up your child, please turn right on Bell St. and take care of it there.
- Parents CANNOT get out of their vehicles in the car line for safety reasons and to keep traffic flowing.
- If it is ever necessary to change the way a student is to go home from his/her normal routine, please call the office BEFORE 2:00 P.M. Front office phone number is (903) 881-4400.
