COVID-19 (CORONA VIRUS) UPDATE
As you know we are in uncharted waters with the COVID-19 virus. Please know that the Catholic Schools Office and the Diocese is working tirelessly to ensure that we keep our students and parishioners as safe as possible.
From the letters that you have received last week, you should know by now that we are currently closed at the school for at least three (3) weeks. This will continue to be monitored and as soon as we know a definitive answer of when school will resume, we will keep you posted. Below, you will find the latest parent letter from the Catholic Schools Office and our Attendance procedure for Distance Learning.
Know that my prayers are with all of you during this time. I pray that this is simply the Lord's way of telling us to slow down in our lives. May the Blessed Mother continue to intercede on our behalf during this time.
Mary, Queen of Angels, Pray for US!!!

We are asking that your students work on their distance learning every other day during the week. This will begin tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18, 2020. We are wanting them to work on school work on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
During this time please avail yourself to one of two options so that we can track attendance. Either click on the "Attendance" link (and fill out the Google Form for each child) on our website, under Family Resources, or please email your teachers on the day the students are supposed to be working (M,W,F)
We also are asking our teachers to contact you on a consistent basis to check in with your child.
Thank you again for your flexibility at this time.
Contacting Representatives/Letter to the Editor
We are very blessed to be able to have a school that is able to provide a Catholic education to our students. Many of us are able to afford to send our children to Catholic school because we receive financial assistance through the Choice Scholarship. This financial assistance opportunity continues to be available due to the State of Indiana Senators and Representatives supporting the Choice Scholarship. It is so important that you as a parent are able to have a choice on where to send your children to school.
With that being said, one of our school parents recently wrote a letter to the editor in regards to this. I encourage all of you to take the opportunity to contact your legislators or write a letter to the editor yourself. These legislators need to know the value of this scholarship and why it is so important to ensure that this will continue to be available. There are many people that oppose the Choice Scholarship, however, many have not taken the time to educate themselves properly on its impact.
Here is the information in regards to our representatives, as well as, the information on how to write a letter to the editor.
Martin Carbaugh, State Representative
Phone #: 1-317-234-9028/ 1-800-382-9841
Justin Busch, State Senator
Phone #: 1-317-232-9400/ 1-800-382-9467
Karen Francisco, Editor, Journal Gazette
Please take time to read the attached letter and become more informed. If you are moved to write your own letter or contact your legislators, please do.
