LIFT Weekly Update
All about the Student Ministries at First Baptist Covington
Though it was a long rainy weekend, and our yard work missions project fell through, we still made the most of Sunday evening and baked cookies and made cards for our local Police and Fire Departments last night! Our kids did an amazing job, and we hope they are blessed by our rainy day mission project!
Prayer Breakfast is on as usual tomorrow, but we may have to jump the gun a little and try some of our favorite Pumpkin Spice Pancakes! 7am or 8am!
Join us Wednesday for LIFT as we worship, fellowship, enjoy FREE DINNER and conclude this difficult series called The Least of These. The new series will help students reconcile their faith in a good God with a world full of poverty and pain. Check out last week's message and follow-up questions below! Be there ready to grow 6-7:30pm!
Then, Sunday we've got our awesome Sunday School classes, which just started the new Gospel Project Chronological Curriculum, which now matches up with the children's studies, but goes much deeper.
There is NO LIFELINE this week because this Sunday is our annual Church Picnic! Be out at the FFA/FCCLA Camp by 4pm to join in the fun! We'll start with our crazy rodeo games and then all enjoy a meal together and continue playing as long as you like. Tickets are $5/person and can be purchased at the church office, on Sunday morning in the foyer, or at the door once you arrive. Don't miss it!

· If we aren’t required to do good things for people because we are saved by grace, then why do should do them?
