Geothermal Energy Question
Now the answer:
Geothermal energy can be extracted in Canada. For example, if you had a furnace and it was heating the house, you would be using alot of money, so it's not so economical. But if you had a geothermal energy source, you could heat the house with some of the furnace heat and the geothermal energy heat so that it's economical and it's sustainable because the furnace could pollute the air but if you were to use a little bit of the furnace heat, the pollution wouldn't be so bad.

The Science Behind Geothermal Energy
1. What do we know about geothermal energy and its impact on the environment and
the way we live?
Now the answer:
Geothermal energy is thermal energy stored in the Earth. Thermal energy technically determines the temperature of matter, as it states in Wikipedia. The energy of the Earth's crust originates from the making of the planet ( or as it states in Wikipedia, the formation of the planet ) and the radioactive decay of potassium, thorium and uranium in the Earth's crust, as it is stated by Britannica School. The stuff we know about geothermal energy is that it is mainly used for heating. It is also becoming a big thing for generating electricity. The impact on the environment is that it is economical and the reason for that is because for example, let's say that the furnace is heating the house but is using 20 degrees celsius. If you had a geothermal energy source, you could use 10 degrees of the geothermal energy then you could use 10 degrees celsius of the furnace then your using less money and the same heat.
