The PTA is geared up and ready to go to make this school year one to remember for the Washington community. Our past PTA has been extraordinary in bringing phenomenal programs all year long. The Washington current is strong and we intend to catch the wave of the PTA’s strength. We appreciate all your support in many forms. Join us on Back-to-School Night, a parent-only event, and meet the PTA board and approve the treasurer’s report. We will share how your membership, donation, and involvement are part of PTA’s effort to create a positive and robust Washington community.

Go Class of 2036! On Saturday, August 12, kindergarten families enjoyed the sun and snow cones!. Thanks to Washington parent, Christine Nugent, for supporting the PTA with a donation of part of the proceeds from Showbiz Sno-Balls!

On Tuesday, August 15, PTA hosted a catered lunch to welcome back our Washington teachers and staff prior to the Meet and Greet.

What a turnout at the Teacher Meet and Greet! You could feel the Explorer energy as students met their teachers, reconnected with classmates, and purchased new spirit wear!

There was so much Washington spirit for the first day of school on Wednesday, August 16! We are looking forward to a great year full of learning and fun!
