Happy Holidays!
Thank you for your small and large ways of saying thanks to us this holiday season and especially by sending us incredible children to work with each day. We give our thanks to each of you for your passion and support of RCMS, and we wish you and yours Happy Holidays.
On a RollStudents in P.E. literally skated into the holiday season during the past few days with a good old “retro” skating unit – that’s right, they put on traditional roller skates, some wrist guards, and practiced the skills of skating. | Beautiful SoundsThese last two weeks, we got to see growth and progress and heard beautiful music. Each of our performance groups of band, choir, and orchestra held their winter concert. Students' growth from October to now was evident, and the music was fitting to help ring in the holidays. Thank you to our Foundation for supporting music! Want to support more? Donate to the RCMS Foundation here. (pictured: chorus) | Holiday FlairIt’s Ridgeview staff tradition to celebrate the upcoming holidays during the week before winter break with daily themed dress. You may have seen red and white stripe day, winter animal day, and more. This year we invited our students to celebrate with us on Friday, and we hope this picture brings you a small fraction of the joy that we had on Friday as a school! |

Available Support Services During the Holidays

Today is the Final Day to Purchase Optional Lockers!
Ridgeview plans to make the option of student lockers available for the spring of 2023. If your student may be interested in obtaining a locker, please read this initial information carefully:
- Lockers are optional, and any student who does not want to purchase use of a locker will be allowed to continue carrying a backpack.
- Lockers will be available for sale for $5 between November 28 and Dec.16 only through our online platform – no cash or checks.
- Interested students/families should purchase a locker on Online School Payments during the above timeframe. Students can show a printout or picture (please ask permission to use their phone first) to their homeroom teacher. As a fail-safe, the school will run a report of individuals who have paid online and will provide it to the homeroom teacher after the deadline.
- After the spring semester begins, lockers will be distributed to students who have paid.
- Note that students will only have limited use of the lockers at designated times during the day (for example purposes only: before 1st period, before connections classes, and at the end of the day).
- Requests for certain locker locations or top/bottom lockers will not be taken.
- Locker privileges may be removed at any time at the administration’s discretion for inappropriate use without a refund.
Electronics Recycling and New School Supply Day
Are you purchasing new electronics for the holidays? You are in luck! You can recycle your old electronics and have the data securely wiped with a donation to Sandy Springs Education Force! Save the date and recycle your items for a good cause: Jan. 21, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., North Springs High School Parking Lot, 7447 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs.
Your donation of $20 per car will help provide urgently needed funds to support Sandy Springs Education Force's STEAM, literacy, after-school and mentoring programs in our schools. (Plus, fee free to bring new school supplies to donate!) Learn all the details here.

Spring Sports Physicals Due Jan. 9
Complete sports physicals, if not already on file, are due by Jan. 9 to Coach Dixon or Coach Lloyd if your student plans to play spring sports. Those sports include Girls Soccer, Baseball, and Co-ed Track. If you have questions, please reach out to Coach Dixon or Coach Lloyd.

$5 Non-Uniform for Pay Day is Jan. 11
