Clubs
Tri-fold boards are available in the office. Be sure to talk with 3-4 kids who can stay with you and talk about the club to everyone. Have a craft, something to do, jump rope, whatever to draw kids to your club area.

3-5 grade teachers - start helping students clean up computers. We are finding lots of junk downloaded on the computers. They also need to know how to close windows and slow their cursors down. It will be very important that the computers are updated before testing begins. Get into the habit of shutting down every morning, so that updates can happen first thing in the morning.
Turning in Tickets Procedure
Also, please start keeping track of your own weekly totals. It will be helpful to know as we naturally slack off in providing positive feedback, and could help us follow through with more positives over time.

Data regarding student progress
Any requests/discussion regarding retention
I will also gather dates for placement, PLTW needs, PBL needs, and with 3-5 have a discussion around ACT Aspire Exemplars.

“In what ways and to what extent do teachers and students exchange feedback about student learning?
Instructional Rounds
As you visit our classrooms, we would like to know:
• When asked, are students able to tell you how they can tell if they are doing well in a subject or on a task, without invoking the “cause the teacher said so” phrase?
• Are teachers asking higher order and open ended questions that allow students to explain and analyze their thoughts?
• Do teachers praise (“Good boy”) or do they encourage (“Now, you’ve got it – keep it up”)?
•When students are working together, do they provide meaningful feedback to each other ?
