Kindergarten parents - please be at your child's bus stop by the assigned drop off time in order to receive your child. Kindergarten students must have an adult to receive them at the bus stop every day.

Parent Safety Meeting 8/27 7:00 p.m.

Hamilton Southeastern Schools has been implementing a strategy for lockdown procedures known as the A.L.I.C.E. plan. A.L.I.C.E. is an acronym for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter and Evacuate. Prior to the A.L.I.C.E. plan, lockdown procedures involved the staff locking their doors, moving the students to a part of the room where they could not be seen, and quietly remaining there until an "All Clear" announcement was given.

Before the first updated drill is performed, each grade level will be a part of a presentation by our School Resource Officer, Tracy Jones. During this presentation given over the next few weeks, she will use a common set of guidelines to address this topic and teach their class the A.L.I.C.E. plan in an age appropriate manner.

Parents, please plan to attend this information meeting given by our School Resource Officer. The meeting will be held at New Britton Elementary on August 27th at 6:30 p.m. Please enter the school through Door #2.

Cafeteria Notes

When sending lunch money in with your student, please remember to include the Student ID number and name.

You may join your student for lunch beginning September 4th. Be sure to check the Bulldog Scoop and Bulldog Bulletin for more information!

You will receive your book rental statement via email from Skyward Family Access.

The fees will be posted by Friday, October 5th.

To pay with exact cash or check: Please stop by or send in your payment to the NBE office clearly marked with your child's first and last name and payment amount.

  • All orders must be placed by September 7th. Late orders cannot be accepted.

Notification of Pesticide/Herbiside Application

Per state guidelines, some planned applications of pesticides and/or herbicides require school districts to notifiy parents, guardians and staff members at least 48 hours prior to application. the information provided will include:

  • Name or address of school where pesticide/herbicide application is occurring
  • Contact information for more information
  • Anticipated date and time of pesticide/herbicide application
  • Pests/vegetation being targeted
  • Description of application area
  • Pesticides/herbicides to be used

The link to Pesticide and Herbicide Notification information can be found on the Hamilton Southeastern Schools website (www.hseschools.org). On the site, click the "Menu" button in the top right hand corner. Select "Services", then "Additional Services", then "Facilities /Maintenance". Active notifications will be provided by the facilities department and updated as needed.
