Who is Babe Ruth

Babe Ruth was an amazing baseball player and is one of the most famous baseball player in baseball history. George Herman Ruth was born Feb 6, 1895 Pig town Baltimore, MD. George was known for how many home runs he hit in his career and how he swung the bat. Today we will discuss his early life, the starting of his career, and his late career.

Early life

George Herman Ruth Sr was the father of George and Katherine Schamber was the mother of of George. Both of the parents where half German which made George half German as well as his parents. After he turned 7 he was considered an orphan for unknown reasons he went to St.Mary's Industrial School for Boys. After spending a few years in the orphanage he was introduced to baseball.

Baseball career

When Babe Ruth started baseball he began in the major leagues not so common for a lot of players. He began baseball with the Boston Red Sox as a pitcher with a slightly advanced slugging percentage. Harry Frazee sold Babe Ruth to the New York Yankees where Babe Ruth really shined his talent for hitting home runs. Finally Babe Ruth was transferred to the Boston Braves for a year where Babe Ruth retired.

Ruth's honors

Out of all the games Babe Ruth has played he has won a total of 7 world series rings. He has hit 714 home runs in his total life playing baseball. He hit the a total of 2,873 balls in his career playing baseball for all the teams. He is also proudly in the baseball hall of fame.
