On October 29th SHS Art students will be painting faces at The Hilltop Chevy Event from 10-2! Come get your face painted and bring the little ones!
SHS Art Room is always looking for donations of old magazines, newspaper, and plastic & paper bags for future projects.
Music Department
The music department will be having our annual Poinsettia fundraiser coming up from November 1st to November 16th. Pick up will be Tuesday, November 22nd. Just in time to decorate after Thanksgiving!
Our winter concert is Tuesday, December 13th. More information to follow!
Class / Club News
Drama Club
The Drama Club will be performing their second annual Somersworth Night Live! Comedy show. The dates are November 18th and 19th at 7pm in our exciting new black-box theater. The show is directed by Ashley Kinsey and will be hosted by Kailey Kinsey, with special musical guest Citronella. Admission is $7 for general admission and $5 for students and senior citizens 65 and older.

October 17th- Fundraiser at Panera Bread 4-8pm
October 29th- They are sponsoring the Halloween Dance here in the Café starting at 7pm

Class of 2019
The Class of 2019 will be selling Topper Pride T-shirts. Shirts are blue, short sleeve, with white ink. The price is $15 per shirt, while supplies last (Cost may vary if a second order is required). See a 2019 officer, or go to shsclassof2019.weebly.com for more information.
National Honor Society
UNH Football Concessions 10/1, 10/15: NHS members will be working concessions stands at the UNH football games. Members will be teamed up with experienced worker that will be working the cash register. Members are working for their clubs and fundraising efforts will go to the club that they represent.
Teacher Luncheon 10/7: NHS members provided food for the teacher’s lunch-in and gave their time to prepare and clean up the dining area. Pasta, drinks, and Panera bread were served to the teachers.
Pumpkin Fest 10/8: Members sold homemade pastries, coffee, apples, and popcorn. The profits were split among 68 Hours of Hunger, the festival association, and a community member’s leukemia walk.
2016 NHS Induction 10/19: 11 new NHS members are being inducted. The ceremony will be in Mulligan’s Grill and will be from 6-8 pm and snacks will be provided. New Members include: Rhiannon Amero, Brett Dodier, Sophia Dupuis, Joseph Ferland, Jacquelyn Foote, Hunter Gosselin, JT Laurion, Kaitlyn Lavoie, Nazareth Likumarico, Holly Moore, and Dan Smith
Food Pantry 11/2: Members will be working with the Table for Plenty and we’re going to be help serve food to those in need.

Flu Shots
It is not too late to get your child’s flu shot. Convenient MD gives FREE FLU Shots to children ages 6 months to 18 years old. The student must have their parent or guardian with them to give consent to get the Flu Shot. They are open 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week (no appointment necessary).
