NOTES FROM DR. SULLIVAN

Valentine Parties

Classroom teachers will have Valentine Parties on February 14th. Students are encouraged to bring Valentines for their classmates. Candy is allowed this year. Teachers will communicate to parents if they need supplies for the parties. We are not having parent volunteers.


Conference Scheduling

Watch for a separate email with instructions on scheduling parent-teacher conferences. We are holding conferences on Feb. 14 and 15 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and on Feb. 16 from 8:00 am - 11:00 am. Parents will be offered a choice of in-person or a zoom conference.

Neihardt Group Pictures - (Band, Fuel Up, Golden Sower, Orchestra, Pathfinders and Safety Patrol) will have their pictures taken on Wednesday, February 3.


Also, all new students to Neihardt since November 11 will have their picture taken.

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES

Parent - Teacher conferences will be held on Monday, February 14 and Tuesday, February 15 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Conferences will also be held on Wednesday, February 16 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Information on scheduling your conference through Pick A Time will be sent in a separate email.


Preschool parents - Due to multiple conference choices, we are not using Pick A Time. We are using Sign Up Genius to schedule your parent teacher conferences. An email will be sent with the Sign Up Genius link to schedule your conferences.

The Neihardt health room is in need for pants for both boys and girls ages 5 to 8. If you are able to donate these items to the health room, it would be greatly appreciated.

GOLDEN SOWER CLUB NEEDS FLEECE and YARN SCRAPS

Do you have remnants left over from an old fleece project?

Do you have any partial skeins of yarn left over from a project?


Our Golden Sower Club will be making fleece dog and cat toys in conjunction with the book Because of the Rabbit and donating them to Town and Country Humane Society.

Any scraps longer than 3” will be useful!


Please send your much-needed donation to school by March 18th.

2022-2023 KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION INFORMATION

The MPS online registration portal will become available for new

Kindergarten families on February 10, 2022. The school office will be mailing an informational letter to all kindergarten families next week.


If you have a child or know of a child in our neighborhoods who will be 5 years of age on or before July 31, 2022, please contact Mrs. Svoboda in the Neihardt school office at

402-715-8360 to make sure he or she is on our list.

Applications for the 2022-2023 school year are due by February 15th.


  • You must live in the Millard school district and your child must turn 4 by July 31, 2022.
