About The Singing Jet

Dear Choir Family,

In an effort to improve our communication, better our relationships, and stay connected we've created The Singing Jet, the choir's very own publication!

TSJ will be a weekly post full of updates, reminders, photos, videos, and articles related to all things JCHS Choir. My hope is that this will become a useful, but also meaningful way for everyone in the Choir Family to relate and grow together. :) This idea will change and evolve a lot as needed, but I'm very excited about these possibilities.

Below you'll find previews to the regular segments of TSJ, as well as important information for upcoming events!

Notes about Notes

Though maybe not present every week, I'd like to start up a column for us all to enjoy. Perhaps a brief word of encouragement from the director, a bio of a new student or family, a bit of insight from professionals in the music industry, a testimonial from a parent, or a chance for a student to stretch their creative muscles!

I am so often inspired by articles, blogs, and thoughts shared online. It is such a great resource we have, and yet so often we miss out on having an intentional space to share our ideas about the things that are dear to us. I hate to say you'll have to endure my poor writing and grammatical mistakes from time to time, but maybe that will inspire others towards courageous writing.

I sincerely hope this is something you could look forward to!
