Note From the Principal
Dear Families,
Happy Fall and welcome back from a long and rejuvenating fall break! This week was spectacular as a portion of our virtual learners returned to in-person. Enjoy this weekend and don’t forget this is daylight savings time, we are falling back. Please read on for important information.
Food Drive White River is thrilled to support the Noblesville Schools weekend meal pack program food drive through November 6th. Our goal is to collect 600 boxes of oatmeal! This represents one box for every Eagle. Please be sure to pick some up this weekend. Thank you for your support!
To remind students of this drive and have fun, next week we will be having three spirit days.
Monday: Cozy up in your favorite pajamas
Wednesday: Workout wear and energize
Friday: Sports wear to cheer on your favorite team
Car Rider Reminders As we settle back from fall I would like to send a couple of reminders that will help us better serve your children and keep them safe:
If you realize you have forgotten your sign during dismissal please pull into a visitor space and we will get you a new sign and complete an ID check at the completion of the car rider line.
Students are required to enter and exit the door closest to the curb. This eliminates children moving between cars and keeps them safe.
During morning drop-off please watch for your child to step onto the curb fully before pulling away. There have been occasions that children may drop an item and bend down to pick it up near the tires.
Soaring with you,
Ms. V

Social Emotional Learning
What is Social Emotional Learning (SEL)?
SEL isn't new to Noblesville Schools and has been taught in most schools across the country for many years.
It's based on decades worth of research on what's best for kids and focuses on enhancing skills such as listening, sharing, collaborating, managing conflict respectfully, critical thinking and problem solving.
SEL leads to positive academic outcomes and employers report these skills are key to success in the workplace.
For more information, visit the SEL area on our website or contact Dana Nelson dana_nelson@nobl.k12.in.us or Michele Whaleymichele_whaley@nobl.k12.in.us
