Similarities between a cell and the Toronto Maple Leafs
Intro
I am going to be talking about the similarities between the Toronto Maple Leafs and a Cell.
The Ice is like the cytoplasm
The cytoplasm is a jelly-like substance that keeps all the organelles in the cell. The organelles move freely around in the cytoplasm, just like how a hockey player moves freely around on the ice and can't skate in the seats.
2. Colton Orr, Frazer McLaren, and Mark Fraser are like the lysosome
Colton Orr, Frazer McLaren, And Mark Fraser are the tough guys for Toronto and they protect Phil Kessel and all the other star players. The lysosome protects the cell from bad bacteria and viruses.
3. The coach, Randy Carlyle, is also like the nucleus.
Randy Carlyle is like the nucleus. He controls everything that happens on the ice for his team, just like the nucleus controls everything that happens in the cell.
The Cytoplasm
The Cytoplasm is the part of the cell that is to gooey thing that keeps all the organelles in place.
The Lysosome
The lysosome is the part of the cell that protects the cell from being infected from bad bacteria and viruses.
The Nucleus
The nucleus is the part of the cell that leads and controls the cell and it tells the cell what to do every time. The nucleus is in the center of the cell.
EVEN MORE!!!!
The frame of the Air Canada Center is like the cell wall
The cell wall is the frame of the cell and it keeps it from losing it's shape. The Air Canada Center frame keeps the Air Canada Center from losing it's shape and collapsing.
The lockers are like the cell's Vacuoles
The vacuoles store nutrients and waste and the lockers in the Air Canada Center store the player's clothing and personal items.
Rick St. Croix is like the nucleolus
Rick St. Croix helps Randy Carlyle teach and control the goalies James Reimer and Jonathan Bernier. The nucleolus helps the nucleus control the cell and helps him.
The cell wall
The cell wall keeps the cell from losing it's shape.
The Vacuole
The Vacuole is the part of the cell that stores nutrients and waste.
The Nucleolus
The Nucleolus helps the nucleus with controlling and ordering the rest of the cells.
Conclusion
These are the reasons that I think that the Air Canada Center is just like the Cell.
