You and the Chromebook

Explore. Play. Get comfortable. See if your administrator will allow you to take a Chromebook home. The "Getting Started" tutorial found in the app button on the desktop will help you navigate basic features of your Chromebook. Students should try this, too, if they're using it for the first time!

The Chromebook can be your window to the world, and with proper implementation, students can experience classroom instruction that blends the traditional structures of learning. Creating multiple paths, places, and time settings for students to expand their knowledge beyond the classroom walls is vital to 21st century learning, and Chromebooks can help get us there.

Stages of Integration

No matter what stage in the learning progression you are currently at, integrate the Chromebooks at a pace that you see fit. Realize that students work within these progressions, too, and may possibly move faster than we do. Find student helpers in your classroom and establish them as resident experts!
