Little Rock Nine

It all started in 1954, when the Supreme Court called for the Desegregation of public schools in Brown vs. Board of Education. In 1957, the NAACP registered nine black students to attend Little Rock Central High School. The students names were Ernest green, Elizabeth Eckford,Jefferson Thomas, Terrence Roberts, Carlotta Walls, Minnijean Brown, Gloria Ray, Thelma Mothershed, and Melba Pattillo.
