Victor Primary School

Summer 2021

A Message From the Principal

And that's a wrap! Thank you to so many who 'made this extraordinary year happen' with all the shifts, changes, expectations, challenges, and insights we faced. Teachers, support staff, aides, cleaners, dining room and nursing staff, Mrs. Kinsella and Mrs. Jacoby were amazing through it all. And you, the parents and guardians of the very children we hold dear, thank YOU for your partnership with us, the trust you handed over to us each day, and your commitment and understanding through it all. It has been an honor to be back at Victor Primary School as we bring this unique school year to a close. Enjoy these summer days as your family reads a little bit, writes a little bit, and plays A LOT each and every day!!

I am excited for the next VPS chapter. Your new Principal, Heidi Robb, and Assistant Principal, Amanda Moon, will together carry on the quality culture that makes this place so special as well as bring their own vision, voice, and passion to this important work. The children and the families we serve will be the benefactors...and I wish you all the best, always.

A Virtual Concert!

Hello everyone,

Tayler Kochan and Jen Lewis worked with all 17 3rd grade and 2/3 Multi-age classes to create a music video for the end of the year. Due to Covid, we still wanted them to have a performance opportunity. Each class was able to record their voices separately in the auditorium while 12 feet apart and perform a class dance separately. Thanks to Tayler's technology skills, she was able to upload and piece together all of the videos and recordings into one.We are so proud of these students as they move forward to the Intermediate next year!

Summer StoryWalk

If you're on campus for sports or play this summer, Mrs. Linse from the Library worked with students to hang Ryan Higgins's book What About Worms?! on the baseball fence along the neighborhood sidewalk off of the Primary School. If you're enjoying the new playground, this Story Walk would be an easy literacy add-on.

Victor Primary School

At Victor Primary School we are not only concerned with your child's academic growth, but also with his or her development as a total human being. This includes emotional and social well-being, a sense of responsibility, appropriate behavior, and physical aptitude. To accomplish this, we work together as a team to foster a "positively primary" environment for all.
