Welcome to our New Staff!
K-8 PE TeacherPlease say hello to Eric Stefanchik, our new K-8 PE teacher and Adventure Coordinator. Erick graduated from UI in 2017 with a B.S. in Recreation. He began working at McDonald elementary school as a special education paraprofessional. Eric has been coaching high school sports since 2015 at both Moscow and Lewiston. His combined experience in coaching and recreation will make him a great asset to PPCS. "I am so excited to begin my first year teaching Physical Education and Adventure at Palouse Prairie Charter School! I believe that the EL Education model helps shape all of our students for success in school and in all aspects of life." | Middle School Math Teacher We are pleased to have Katie Peterson teaching 6th and 8th grade math this year. Katie is a 2019 graduate of the UI Education Department. She has an Idaho Math, K-8 teaching endorsement. Katie is a PPCS parent and has been a sub at our school many times. She has been a part of PPCS community for many years. "Our family has just returned from a year living near our nation’s capital. Having lived in Virginia, Florida, California, Washington, and Idaho, I can fairly say that there is no better place to live, work, and educate children than right here in Moscow." | Teaching and Learning Specialist We are excited to have Erin Corwine serving as our Teaching and Learning Specialist, a new position at PPCS. Erin will work collaboratively with the Executive Director to successfully implement the core EL practices by supporting teachers in their practice to help better support students. Erin has been a part of our PPCS Crew for 10 years and has served as a kindergarten teacher, an instructional leadership team member, middle school math teacher, and our data and assessment coordinator. |
