We had a great week finishing up the main idea objective. Next week, we get into gear and start with expository writing. We have practiced working on informational writing prompts during our writing time in class. This week, they will think of a topic they are interested in to write about. Week at a Glance:
Students will be given the opportunity to work toward a retake for Unit 1: Scale Drawings after making test corrections and showing new learning. Students will retake Unit 1 October 9th.
This week, students will test over Unit 2: Proportional Relationships from our Open Up Resources Tasks. Important vocabulary words and sample problems are available in the Family Newsletter from Open Up Resources.
Students will continue using Edmentum ExactPath during math small group time. Please check out this resource for more about Edmentum.
