All about the Book
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is a science/fiction novel that includes action, romance, and intense battle scenes. I personally love all of the twists and turns taking place in Katniss and Peeta's relationship. Every page adds a new challenge, including a potential marriage, constant fighting, and a baby! This book has something for everyone!

Get to Know Catching Fire
In this action-packed novel, we follow Katniss, a 16-year-old girl left to take care of her family after the tragic death of her father, after her victory of the Games. Now she is living a somewhat normal life in the victors village along with her mentor ,Haymitch Abernathy, her "love interest" , Peeta, and her family. Katniss is still venturing into the woods as much as possible with Gale, but what she doesn't know is that the Capitol has seen everything. With a new peacekeeper in 12 and a Quarter Quell leading Katniss and Peeta back into the games, anything can happen. Will the girl on fire survive what happens next?
About the Author
Suzanne Collins didn't start writing books, but in fact wrote screenplays for children's shows. She started with children's books in a series called The Underland Chronicles. In 2008 she started the Hunger Games trilogy and it immediately became a hit. In 2012 lionsgate produced the first movie with the others soon trailing behind. We expect to see a lot more in the future.
