Please congratulate your current winners!
Dan has served as a Capco consultant at Morgan Stanley for approaching 5 years and has brought intense focus and drive to his work every single day. That is not an exaggeration. The result of his drive has been a huge benefit to our client.
Dan has been the Capco lead for the last two years of a firmwide Operational Mapping initiative at MS, which is owned by the Operational Risk department. Operational Mapping is an essential component of MS’ resolvability story being that the Fed and FDIC have jointly required the firm to demonstrate transparency into its intercompany business processes. In addition to the Operational Mapping exercise itself, Dan led a team to develop an entirely new service taxonomy for MS. That taxonomy now serves as the bedrock of internal task orders and invoices. Dan and team saw that there was a gap in the existing taxonomy and that the company would be better served with a new corresponding language. They made that happen under Dan’s leadership. The output of this exercise will be used for various components of MS’ resolution plan submissions. This effort required a team of 8 consultants (including Dan) working with over a hundred MD and ED client stakeholders in all operating regions and divisions of the firm.
Kriti is a Consultant working on the Equity Swaps Project team. Ever since she joined the account in May 2016, she has been given the responsibility to lead multiple projects in Corporate Actions and STP. Given the heavy responsibilities and the need of global support, Kriti went above and beyond in managing key stakeholders in Hong Kong, India, and London. This requires daily interaction with the teams and Kriti often works early and late to ensure her projects are always on track.
Because of her tireless work ethics, Kriti has successfully implemented the 871(m) project under a very tight deadline. The project resulted in over 2 billion USD profit to the firm and protected against fines from 10-50 million.
All the excellent work Kriti is doing provides the client the confidence and is helping to grow not only her brand but the brand of Capco.
Carole joined the Client Service Operations team in January and she has quickly become a driving force within the Client Service Center team. She owns key Call Center initiatives directly impacting the new Morgan Stanley Service Network and the Differentiated Service Model that will enhance the Financial Advisor servicing experience. She currently works closely with senior stakeholders, ranging from VP to the ED level, providing data and impact analysis to guide strategic business decisions. In addition, she provides project management support to the CTB Call Center Operations team and helps them track and stay on top of stakeholder deliverables.
Most recently Carole has been tasked with gathering Business Requirements to support delivery of a multi-phased initiative. Carole took ownership of the requirements in a topic that she had little knowledge of and was able to dive right in and get to the root of the issues. Her ability to assess the business needs and thorough analysis of data allowed her to articulate thoughtful requirements and solutions to the client.
Beyond her project work, Carole also leads and coordinates the Wealth Management Town Hall sessions on the Morgan Stanley account. The Town Halls provide an opportunity for Capco leadership and colleagues to share the latest updates and information that may be relevant across projects. Carole is always willing to help overloaded team-members and the client and team alike are confident in her ability to grasp new concepts to produce solid deliverables. Her flexibility, strong work ethic and positive attitude make her a true Capco Star.
Mauricio is currently working as a BA and application owner for the Alternative Investments Reconciliation System for AI Ops. Joining the team from the ATP program, Mauricio definitely went above and beyond to perform at the next level. Being a BA he quickly picked up the BRD documentation task and delivered well organized, detailed and high quality documents with a very tight window. Being an application owner, he took the initiative to manage the progress of fund onboarding for the entire Ops team.
The progress the team made was well recognized by the senior management team and Mauricio was one of the main drivers behind it. Besides, Mauricio continued to manage and test the monthly enhancements for the reconciliation system to ensure new features are deployed without defects.
In addition to his normal job duty, he is also known as the Macro master. He often steps in to help the client with various macro issues. This is a huge plus for the client team.I would like to nominate Mauricio for his above and beyond performance, commitment to the client and the high quality of his deliverables
