Bloomfield High School
Health Protocols and Requirements
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we prepare to re-enter the district, there are some requirements we must advise you of. These requirements are imperative to the health and safety of the entire Bloomfield Community and we need your support.
Daily Health Screening
Attached you will find protocols for a Daily Health screening. Please keep this paper handy. If you have a temperature of over 100 degrees or answer yes to any of the attached questions then please follow the stay at home guidelines and report to your school and your child's pediatrician. This procedure must be followed daily, prior to attending school.
All Connecticut residents are obligated to adhere to Executive Order No. 7BBB that states that if you have traveled to any of the states listed on the travel advisory, it will require you to self-quarantine for 14 days upon your return. This executive order DOES apply to students. Please keep your child home and contact the school if you have traveled to any of the states listed on the travel advisory. A list of states on the travel advisory is below as well as the link to the executive order.
Students who are past due for immunizations or newly registered students, must have current up to date medical information on file with the school nurse, prior to entry. Please contact your school nurse if you have any questions.
Adherence to these guidelines is critical to keep our school safe. We must all be diligent and do our part. We thank our parents for the ongoing support and cooperation. We are in this together!
