Dear Families,

The 8th graders had a great field trip to the Museum of Flight in Seattle. See below for some pictures. This trip would not have been possible without the financial support of the Gear Up program and our wonderful parent volunteers. We are very thankful!

This week's newsletter also includes a video ad for our student-produced year book, the lastest episode of the MMS News Show and also repeats past information about 8th grade promotion.

Yearbook Order Information

Our publishing class puts out the annual yearbook as well as the Mustang Minute newspaper. This year's yearbook is a fantastic collection of full-color photos of all 7th and 8th graders as well as ALL sports teams - even spring sports! Yearbooks are $30 and can be purchased in the office or with the link below. Yearbooks will be delivered to students before the end of the school year.

Promotion Update

We are excited for this year's 8th grade promotion ceremonies. Here are some more details about June 13:

  • After each cerremony, students and families can have thier picture taken at our promotion photo booth.
  • After both ceremonies are over, all 8th grade students will have a special school BBQ lunch outside. The afternoon will include other fun activities for the entire group to enjoy together.
  • We encourage students to dress up if they choose, however, the MMS Dress Code still applies. All outfits must be school appropriate. School administrators may exercise their authority to determine/enforce any clothing that is a major disruption to the school environment.

Students will receive 4 tickets to give to family members who want to watch them get their certificates. If a family cannot attend, both ceremonies will be live-streamed on YouTube.

Find your student's advisory teacher's name below to know which ceremony they will be in.
