SOAR Celebration is on Friday the 12th.

Last week in science, we finished the meiosis unit. Then it was on to DNA. We started with some notes and awesome discussions. This week we will see how DNA replicates and create a model of DNA with some licorice and marshmallows!


AGAIN....If the kids use their class time wisely this week, there should not be much homework. I would appreciate it if parents would take a look through and discuss the last 6-7 pages (up through pg 65) of their INBs with their kids. .

How to study:

1. Teach someone else the concepts

Student of the Week: Daisy D.

I have been so impressed with Daisy and her drive to earn good marks in my class these last few weeks. She even scored 100% on her Meiosis quiz! In class, Daisy goes the extra mile to make sure she has things right before she turns them in. She is not afraid to raise her hand and ask a clarifying question almost on a daily basis!
