Principal's Message
Happy Friday Cougar Families!
I hope you have all had a great week. Next week is finals week and is a particularly stressful time of year. Please take the time to check in on your students and monitor their well-being and academics. Encourage them to make a plan for the week that will provide them with the time they need to tend to all of their classes and responsibilities.
When they need to take a break, I encourage everyone to attend Rock of Ages. More than 75 students are involved in our Fall musical and it does not disappoint. For an added treat, the Saturday matinee will be a singalong to everyone's favorite 80's rock tunes. If that doesn't work for your schedule, please consider attending the Winter Concert on Tuesday. The annual show is filled with so much holiday spirit, it will begin to snow!
Have an awesome weekend

Envision
Envision is an annual, free all-day program that educates high school girls about career possibilities in engineering and computer science. The day’s program will include guest speakers from industry and academia, hands-on computer science and engineering activities, and a project team fair at the UCSD Jacobs School of Engineering. There will also be a short program for parents to help prepare their children for college, free and separate from the student program. We encourage all families to attend, and sign-ups for the parent program are included in the student sign-ups.
Envision 2023 will be held on Sunday, February 12th, from 10am to 3pm PST. Sign-ups are open now and available at this link (https://forms.gle/12E2GjHmbtUf6N2C7) or our website (http://ucsdenvision.wix.com/envision). There is no admission fee for Envision, and there are explicit directions on the website to help guide the registration process. Free continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
