Walsh Parent Update
A New Year Begins
Walsh CORE Values
Respect, Ownership, Acceptance & Responsibility
Every day at Walsh, our CORE Values, or guiding principles, drive our school-wide culture. These core values are taught then reinforced daily with every student and staff member. We expect all students and staff to demonstrate Respect, Ownership, Acceptance, and Responsibility toward everyone, in all areas, at all times.
Schedules
Students will have Connections on Days 3 and 6 in their homerooms.
i-Ready/Enrichment locations will be handed out during the first day of school.
Attached is the new block rotation. All three middle school are now on the same rotation.
6th Grade and New Student Self-Guided Tours
For any 6th grade families who are not able to make this time, rest assured that the teachers will assist students with lockers and walk students to their destinations for the first week of school. We would appreciate your cooperation by visiting only during the times listed above, as we would like to give the teachers the opportunity to set up their classrooms.
Aspen Log In
Pick up and Drop Off
Please drive slowly while on school grounds. The safety of each child is everyone's responsibility.
Please follow the traffic pattern when dropping off or picking up your child. For the safety of all students, vehicles are not allowed in the circle in front of the school from 7:45 - 8:10 and 2:00 - 2:35. This is to allow the buses to safely drop off and pick up students. Students will be dropped off and picked up in the large parking lot, nearest the fields. Staff members will be in the crosswalk to assist students. A crossing guard will be at the end of the driveway to assist students crossing Brook Street.
Students should arrive at school no later than 8:00, as homeroom begins promptly at 8:10. Students who are not seated in homeroom by 8:10 will be considered tardy. Students should report to the office prior to going to homeroom if they arrive at school after 8:10 AM.
