Help our schools and city earn a $40,000 grant from AEP Ohio for a new community playground
You have the opportunity to save energy and money in your homes and businesses, and you can also help New Albany win a $40,000 grant from AEP Ohio to go toward a new community playground!
Participate in one or more of AEP Ohio’s energy efficiency programs, including:
- downloading the "It's Your Power" app to remotely control your energy devices (2 points)
- taking the home energy profile (1 point)
- recycling old refrigerators or freezers for up to $150 in rebates (1 point)
- purchasing ENERGY STAR appliances (1 point)
The city and schools need to eclipse 300 points between now and December 23rd, 2019, to earn the $40,000 grant and we are counting on your participation! Learn more & join today!

Registration Now Open for the Thanks For Giving 4 Miler & Kids Run - Nov. 28
Registration for the 2019 New Albany Thanks for Giving 4 Miler and kids run is now open! All are welcome, including competitive runners, joggers, walkers and strollers wanting to enjoy time with friends and loved ones before celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday.
This race is all about family, giving back, and having fun. There is no official race fee. You can give as much or as little as you want. Donations will benefit The Mid-Ohio Food Bank, Life Care Alliance and The New Albany Thanksgiving Day fund at the New Albany Community Foundation.
All donated canned goods during race week go directly to the New Albany Food Pantry. Learn more & register today...
