AUSLAN INTERPRETING IN VICTORIAN HOSPITALS
OPEN FORUM
Deaf Victoria, partnering with the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission, is conducting an investigation into the provision of Auslan Interpreting in Victorian Hospitals. We are trying to identify what changes need to be made to ensure that the hospital experience for the Deaf patient is less traumatic and communication is more effective.

YOUR RIGHTS WHEN WORKING WITH INTERPRETERS IN HOSPITALS
Melissa will also be explaining about your rights in hospitals when booking an interpreter or working with an interpreter to explain what are your rights, and what you can do.
