Principal's Newsletter
From the Desk of Ms. Clark
May 15, 2020
Dear Parents,
It is hard to believe that next week we will be concluding our long journey of digital learning. It is my hope that we will be able to leave this time behind with many new found skills, accomplishments, failures, realizations, trials and new developments in our learning spectrum. We are so thankful to all of our parents for your hard work these weeks in an unexpected job and your steadfast support for our school. Please see below for important items to finish out our school year:
MAY COMMUNITY HOMEROOM
We will celebrate your Catholic Leaders for May, our birthdays for May and the summer months, and our Random Acts of Kindness Winners on Thursday, May 28th at 9am on Facebook Live.
VIRTUAL MAY PROCESSION
Our Class of 2020 with the help of their teachers and Mr. McWilliams will provide for us a Virtual May Procession to honor our Blessed Mother. This video will be posted and shared with all on Thursday, May 28th at 1pm. We hope you will take the time to view this prayerful Marian devotion together as a family.
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL
The last day for Digital Learning will be on Friday, May 29th.
VIRTUAL FIELD DAY
Our Virtual Field Day will be held on Monday, June 1st. We will kick off this special day with a special video message from Mr. LaRosa!
SCHOOL DROP OFF AND PICK UP
Students will be scheduled, by grade level, to come to school and pick up their belongings.
This pick-up will be handled with great care to ensure that we are limiting entrance into the building by no more than 10 people at a time with a 6-foot social distancing expectation. A Signup Genius will be sent out TUESDAY, MAY 26th so that families can begin to secure their time slot on their assigned pickup day

Book Drop-off/Pick-up for Grades 1-3-5-7 will be on Thursday, 6/4

END OF THE YEAR CLOSING PRAYER SERVICE AND AWARDS
We will close out our 2019-2020 year with a special prayer service and announcements of awards on Thursday, June 11th at 9am. Broadcasting details will be provided soon.
Thank you parents for ALL that you’ve done to help your child during this unprecedented time of digital learning. Our faculty and staff have worked tirelessly to deliver the best education possible. We truly appreciate your support and understanding! Let’s pray for those who have lost loved ones due to COVID-19 and for those who have suffered economically. We thank God for the little blessings He has given us - our health, our family, and the basic necessities in life.
As we celebrate a long weekend beginning tomorrow, let us remember all who have fought for and defended our right to freedom. To those who died securing peace and freedom, to those who served in conflict to protect our land, to those who sacrificed their dreams of the day to preserve the hope of our nation by keeping America the land of the free, we owe our thanks and our honor.
On this upcoming Memorial Day, be sure to pause to reflect on just what has been given and sacrificed so freely, so that Freedom could ring across this great land.
God's blessings,
Ms. Clark
