NCTD Bus Route 313 Concerns re: Student Behavior
As a reminder, for the safety of all passengers riding the bus, we are asking for parent and guardian support as our students resume riding the NCTD bus route 313 home in the afternoons. Please speak to your student regarding appropriate behavior on the bus. NCTD does have a “Rider Code of Conduct” for their public transportation.

FREE COVID-19 Test Kits
We have several COVID test kits available for students. If you would like your student to pick up a FREE test kit, please have your student come by the main office.
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
More than 80% of qualified students who do not enroll in college cited that its cost and the need for financial aid was a key barrier. Yet, many students never applied for financial aid. Students who fill out FAFSA have 72% higher odds of persisting towards college than their peers who do not file. The window to complete the FAFSA opened on October 1st.
Existing law requires school districts to ensure that 12th grade students complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid or, if the pupil is exempt from paying nonresident tuition under existing law, completes and submits a form for purposes of the California Dream Act. This law was created to ensure that students who plan on attending a College or University have adequate access to funding opportunities that may be afforded to the student and their family.
If you have questions about completing the FAFSA, please reach out to our College & Career Center at 760-901-8051 or contact your student's counselor.
Attendance Office & Student Pick-up Times
Because there is frequently a heavy volume of departure requests at the end of the day, the Attendance Department is unable to call students out of their classes during the last 20 minutes of the school day.
If you need your student to be dismissed after 3 p.m. (2:30 on Wednesdays), please plan to call the Attendance Department ahead of time (760-901-8002). This will need to be arranged earlier in the day to have time to pull your student from class. Your student will then receive a dismissal pass that will allow them to leave early.
