In the News
It was announced last Friday, that Mt. Everest Academy was selected for the 2023 California Distinguished Schools Award Program. The program recognizes outstanding educational programs and practices, as well as exceptional student performance.
“California Distinguished Schools represent examples of not just excellent teaching, learning, and collaboration, but also highly successful, data-driven school efforts ranging from professional development for educators to mental health and social-emotional wellness strategies to address the needs of students and families," said State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond.
Congratulations MEA Family on a job well done! This could not happen without the exceptional educational partnerships that are continuously fostered between families, faculty, and staff. Thank you all! This is a win for everyone!
Thank You MEA
Dear MEA Community,
Thank you so much to all the staff members and families for the gifts and flowers I received while in the hospital, your kindness and generosity was overwhelming! I was able to return home to my family on December 16, just in time for the holiday rush, and have been feeling better every day. The MEA community is truly amazing!
Love, Ms. Battin
