PLC's- Professional Learning Communities
We have some effective collaboration practices in place. Some are: looking at student work for RTI, planning lessons around standards, discussing effective teaching strategies, etc. Moving forward, we as a united team, need a solid plan for helping our teammates learn and plan effectively. PLCs will propel us there! Your team lead has information to share with you. The first thing on the agenda is setting norms. Norms is the first and most important detail to attend to in order to be successful. Good Luck!

SFA Role Cards- Ms. Sanchez
Here is a modification to role cards that include A/B Partner Roles. Student Engagement provides an opportunity for learners to discuss! This strategy can work in all content areas! I have role cards for ELA and Math! See me if you are ready to implement!
SFA-Write On, 100 point, Meaningful Sentence- Ms. Wildman
All three structures offer students a rubric to follow so they know what criteria is needed to complete the task with mastery. This method offers students a way to self-monitor and learn what is needed to be proficient. I encourage you to use this in all content areas- as a team- you create the rubrics for kids!
Notice Ms. Wildman highlights the point correlation to SFA Comprehension Tests!
Math Reference Charts- Ms. Shadlock
Reference Charts provide students information needed to learn and understand a learning target. Anchor Charts are created with students to provide an opportunity for learners to be part of the process. In both cases- they are another effective way to help kiddos meet their potential!
Attendance Video- Great Information to highlight the importance of attendance!
