WE'RE ALL LEARNING
STUDENTS: 3rd and 4th graders were privileged to hear author, Candace Fleming. Seeing and hearing a real person, who seems like someone you might know, helps make being an author seem like a real-life option. She showed the students a notebook that she began writing in as a 4th grader and her first writing award that she received in 5th grade.
TEACHERS: Please make sure you've signed up for a conference. https://sites.google.com/iccsd.k12.ia.us/penn-conferences/home
Teachers are preparing for upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences. They're looking forward to talking with you, getting to share about your child's learning and hearing your insights.
Our goal is that 100% of our students are represented. We want every child to have the privilege of knowing people who care about them are talking together.

CAR LINE
Here are some of the biggest offenses:
Don't get out of your car in the carline.
Don't park on Dubuque street.
Don't let your kids out on Dubuque street.
Let's all work together to get kids to school safely.
Remember, students may enter the building through the south doors at 7:30 am and the carline moves very quickly until about 7:45, especially if drivers are pulling forward to the furthest open space.
