- S. Beckman for creating a draft of a revised PBIS matrix for our school. She sought to include language that reflects our beliefs and habits of heart. We will spend time working on this draft during our summer institute and upon returning in August.
- S. Beckman for also leading efforts for DFES Earth Day T-Shirts. Proceeds ($185) from the shirts shown above have been donated to the D5 Foundation.
- S. Somerall, K. Andes, C. Trevett, M. Reece, C. Rhodes, and C. Sommers for small group MAP testing for their intervention students. The small group setting has benefitted our students tremendously so far.
- K. Hill's 4th grade class for sharing their insights about goal setting during Friday's learning celebration. They invited the audience to consider the following questions: What are your daily goals as a learner? What are your class community goals? How will you get to your dream career? How has your thinking changed as a result of your learning?

Learning Celebration Rescheduled
H. Bradwell's class was originally scheduled to led our learning celebration this coming Friday, March 24th. Due to a conflict with MAP testing we are rescheduling for a day in April. FYI.
Staffing Update
- H. Bradwell and her family are moving to Pelion, SC. As good fortune would have it she was offered and accepted a teaching position at Pelion Elementary for the upcoming school year. A tremendous loss for us and gain for PES. We will begin interviewing for her position within the next couple of weeks and will keep you posted.
We develop students who care about the world we live in and express critical thinking through natural curiosity and wonder.
