The Nixon Groove
What a Great Day to be a Nixon Cougar!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS from Nixon Elementary!!
Happy Holidays! As we come to the end of our first semester, I wanted to personally thank you for all of your support. I was thinking how much I love being at Nixon and the joy it brings observing our scholars working so hard to be the best version of themselves. I can confirm that I have the best job in the world- educating our scholars and ensuring they are receiving a high-quality education!
Walt Disney once said, " You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world, but it takes people to make the dream a reality". Nixon is most certainly the most wonderful place! The reality is that the learning experiences that has taken place this semester could not have happened without a great deal of commitment and support from the staff, parents, community partners, and scholars.
I can not thank everyone enough for your endless hours of volunteering, reading, organizing, donating, and doing everything you could to support our scholars- both at school and at home. A special thanks goes to our parents, who always goes above and beyond the call of duty to provide whatever is necessary to add to our scholars school experience. We can not be number one without you all!
Lastly, one of the highlights of the holiday season is the extra time we have to spend time with our loved ones and celebrate the meaning of family and friends. I wish all of you a peaceful holiday, not only now, but throughout the year.
