One of the highlights of my day is calling in scholars after lunch to hear the real story on what is going on around the school house. This week I will be focusing on getting feedback from our 8th grade class! The 6th and 7th graders gave me ELITE feedback!

If your child attended BCMS as a 6th grader and/or 7th grader last year, his or her GMAS reports should have come home Friday. If you have questions about the information on those reports, please call us at BCMS. You can also click the link below for a Parents Guide created by the Georgia DOE.

Schedule Changes

We are about wrapped up with our schedule change process. All scholars should be in the groove now with a schedule that will be consistent through the school year. Connections classes (Business/Computer, ART, Health, PE) will change on the Quarter. Scholars will have PE/Health for two of the four quarters. If you have questions regarding Connections or schedules, please contact BCMS!

Notes from Ms. Raeburn

We had another GREAT week at BCMS! We started the week with our first Local School Council meeting. It was a great time to connect with our families and talk about all the new initiatives we have going on for this school year. Families asked lots of great questions and it is an awesome way to get involved! We would love to have you join us at our next meeting: Wednesday Sept 20th at 8:00. We will be electing officers at that meeting. We also celebrated PBIS and had an awesome kick off celebration~ our BCMS motto stands for: Be Respectful, Be Courteous, Manage YOUR behavior, and Strive for ExExExCellence! We have a PBIS store and it will be open for business this week! We would love to see you next Monday (8/28) at our informal PTO event! Come and have a piece of pizza and talk about how you can help support our PTO! We have ExExExCiting things on the horizon. I am proud of the start of our school year and PROUD to be your principal! #BeBCMS
