Education

Japan is located just of the coast of Asia. A country of approximately 127,288,416 people, and one of the highest economies. People go to school from the age of 6 to the age of 15 for free.

Government

The Japanese parliament is called the Diet. It consists of the House of Representatives (480 members) and the House of Councillors (242 members). The members of the Diet are elected by the Japanese people.

Economy

The economy of Japan is the third largest in the world, and the second largest developed country.Japan is well know for their exports of goods; Japan's main export goods are cars, electronic devices and computers. Most important trade partners are China, and the USA, followed by South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, and Germany.

Health Care

The health care system in Japan provides healthcare services, including screening examinations, prenatal care and infectious disease control with the patient only having to pay 30% of the total cost. People without health insurance are free to select physicians or facilities of their choice and cannot be turned down.
