Charleston Wraps fundraiser
Thanks to all families who have already started raising funds for the Charleston Wraps fundraiser. We are looking forward to a huge success with this new venture.
We are offering a family plan for the limo ride. 25 items sold for the first child and 5 additional items for each additional child will qualify them for the limo ride.
Any questions, please ask.
Would you like to help with the first PTO sponsored Staff luncheon?
5th grade parents - DC Trip parent informational meeting - 9/27 - 5:30 in cafeteria
Parents,
As we begin planning our annual DC Field Trip it is important to communicate the basics of our contract, what you can expect and pricing. We’d also like to be available to answer any of your questions or concerns. To facilitate this process we are holding an informational meeting for parents on September 27th at 5:30pm in our multi-purpose room.
At this time you will receive all the necessary information for making a decision about you and your child’s participation, we will take questions, and there will be an opportunity to sign-up to take part in our fundraising committee. We will have the multi-purpose room available to you starting at 5:15 that evening.
Thanks and look forward to seeing you,
Huge thank you from Mrs. Helt...
STES Patriots - Let's pay it forward for students in Louisiana
We have extended the donation drive until this Friday.....September 23rd.
Let's show our Patriot Pride and live up to our Vision Statement of "IMPACTING OUR WORLD" by helping other schools and kids in need! STES is "adopting" the Livingston Parish (Louisiana) Public Schools, a system hit hard by recent flooding. Some of the schools were a total loss!
Our own Ms. Bostic (3rd grade teacher) has friends in that area, and they have relayed stories of the devastation and the need for supplies to rebuild and get BACK TO SCHOOL!
Please bring items to Mrs. Craig in the Art Room, and, when we've accumulated lots of supplies, we will get it to the teachers and kids in need!!
REQUESTED SUPPLIES:
- School supplies (paper, pencils, scissors, dry erase markers, construction paper, glue, staplers, folders, paper clips, etc.), Art Supplies (paint, paintbrushes, drawing paper, etc.), Books for the Library
- Health and Hygiene items (soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, lotion, wash cloths, towels, feminine products, band-aids, etc.)
- Cleaning Supplies (paper towels, window cleaner, all-purpose cleaner (no bleach), sponges, scrub brushes, kitchen gloves, disinfectant spray, etc.)
Any questions, contact Mrs. W. Craig or Ms. M. Bostic at STES
A great donation from Caroline in Mrs. Michael's class for the schools in Louisiana
Thursday September 22nd- Early Release Professional Development Day
The students instructional day will end at 12:20pm. All students will need to be picked up at that time. Buses will run as normally scheduled but will arrive at your house approximately 3 hours earlier.
Boys and Girls Club is open on Early Release Days for current members.
If your Patriot needs to go home a different way then normal, please let their teacher know so we can make adjustments.
Literacy Night and Book Fair
