Principal's Message
A note from Mrs. Allen
May is a time to start looking back at the year and thinking about what we have done, and how much we have learned. As the days lengthen and the weather improves it is easy to become distracted. We must remember we still have much to learn and review before the end of June.
As you will see on the calendar, this month is busy. Education Week will be 3-9th with a variety of learning activities throughout the week. On Thursday the 6th we will ask students to dress as their “Future Career”. May 5 is Hats On! For Mental Health. Students are encouraged to wear a fun hat in support of those dealing with Mental Health issues. Lastly but most importantly we have Catholic Education Week from the 10-14. Part of Catholic Ed week is daily province wide prayer. Our district, with the Archbishop, will be leading Tuesday May 11th, 2021. It will be streamed to classrooms across the province. Two of our students from St. Clement will be participating. This month also marks the Grade 6 Confirmation. It will take place during Catholic Education Week on the 12th in the evening. Many blessings to the students who will be receiving this beautiful sacrament.
May is the month of Mary, the mother of Jesus. In addition, to our monthly school celebration, we will gather as a faith community to say the Rosary in honor of Mary.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful mothers who have given life and love to our students! You are loved and appreciated.
God bless!
